I just wanted to drop a quick line to commend a travel consultant that I recently had cause to have dealings with - Jenny. My granddad of 90 had booked over the phone a cruise travelling to St Petersburg due to leave Southampton 270810. He had been allocated an MB cabin with a shower over the bath. He is hard of hearing and so far as I can tell had agreed to all of her questions without fully hearing them and had ended up in a totally unsuitable cabin. When I realised I called your company to try and rectify this, Jenny, realising the extent of the difficulties then approached P&O to get him transferred to a disabled cabin this was done at no additional cost despite the cruise being heavily subscribed. This is a credit to the consultant, your company and P&O for remedying a situation not of your making with no distress to an elderly man taking his first cruise and following a lifelong ambition to visit Russia. I would like you to pass on my heartfelt thanks for this. If the error had not been noticed until onboard then there would have been little we could do and the holiday would have been ruined. As it is it should be a fantastic experience for him. The consultant did not try to pass over responsibility and worked to resolve the matter despite it being my grandfathers error/omissions that caused the problem and I very much appreciate her efforts to do so. He is obviously on a budget as a war pensioner and the no additional cost has been a relief.

On Monday 4th January 2010, we boarded Cunard Queen Victoria for a transatlantic crossing Southampton to New York with an overnight stay on board that enabled to see lots of New York’s famous attractions that would include Times Square and Central Park. Despite a cold snap in the USA on the days we were there we had no snow and had a fabulous time. After the excitement that New York provides. We then set sail for Port Everglades, Fort Lauderdale, and South Florida.
After arriving in Fort Lauderdale and disembarking the Queen Victoria with our luggage. We then took a short tour of Miami. Our luggage was carried on the coach as we would return to Port Everglades. To undertake the 2nd part of our adventure an exciting and very sunny cruise of The Caribbean on board Grand Princess. This cruise had a fantastic itineraryy stopping at 9 ports in 14 days. Aruba, San Juan, Porto Rico, Barbados, Trinidad, Grand Turk, St Thomas to name a few. We had a brilliant time in temperatures in excess of 75-85 degrees Fahrenheit. We met some wonderful people who like ourselves had travelled on The Cunard Queen Victoria and then The Grand Princess.
The exceptional exciting Voyage/Cruise package was arranged by Liverpool Cruise Club and was offered at very attractive price, but wait for it, not only did we get to sail on 2 very fine ships. It also included the return flight back to the UK from New York, Miami or in our case Orlando that was arranged with a small supplement in price. We would recommend Liverpool Cruise Club for their professionalism and the manner in which they put together an exceptional and fabulous package that was worth every penny and communicated and issued Travel Documentation in a timely manner. A hassle free experience.

Just to say we all had a most enjoyable holiday on the rocky Mountaineer and Alaska cruise 24 June to 5 July. We were impressed by the way all connections and transfers went without a hitch, and assistance for the disabled member of our group, very well organised. All hotels we stayed in were very nice, staff very helpful. The Fairmont Waterfront in Vancouver was very nice. The ship was great, superb food, never eaten so much steak in a week.
